Discover the longest free falling waterfall in Telluride just two miles from downtown. Head through town on Main Avenue and you dead end into this breathtaking waterfall. For those who are ambitious, hike up the twisting road to the top of the falls.
Mesa Verde National ParkGet the most of your Telluride activies! An hour drive on a portion of the Million Dollar Skyway will bring you to Mesa Verde National Park. Known as the first and only transportation of it’s kind, the gondola transports you up to 10,540 feet above sea level, on a vertical rise of 1,790 feet, for 3 miles distance and at a speed of 11 miles per hour. Amazingly, the gondola is powered by from wind and solar power.

Grub (the local’s favorites!)Speaking of lunch, with so many things to do in Telluride, you are going to need some energy. A bit off the beaten path but just one block off of Main Street, is the Corner House. With a limited menu, just order at the bar or clear your own table, it is a no frills kind of place. But the homemade fries and the food make it a local’s favorite.
Baked in Telluride, conveniently located in between Main Avenue and the Gondola, offers a variety of scrumptious baked goods filling enough for breakfast or lunch! Delicious pizza, great soups, sandwiches, and delicious coffee to boot.
Ride the Gondola to Crazy Elk Pizza in the village. If you like delicious pizza and beer, the happy hour pizza and PBR special can’t be beat.
