We understand that life happens and cancellations arise. Cancellation is required in writing at info@Mild2WildRafting.com or LiveChat on our website.

IMPORTANT CONSIDERATIONS:

• Trips depart rain, shine, sleet or snow.
• Return times are approximate.
• We reserve the right to switch rivers/sections, or cancel due to insufficient bookings.
• Mild to Wild is not responsible for expenses incurred due to travel delays, flight cancellations or illness. We assume no financial responsibility for personal injury, emergency evacuations, personal equipment loss or damage, arriving late or leaving a trip early whether voluntary or caused by other circumstances.
• Consider our flexible trip change upgrade and/or trip insurance to help cover unforeseen circumstances.

PARTIAL & FULL DAY TRIPS (LOWER ANIMAS, CASTLE VALLEY, SAN MIGUEL & ALL LAND TOURS)

• Receive a 90% refund with written notice 36 hours or more before the trip. Less notice, no refund.
• Trip Change Option: Up to 12 hours prior to departure, trips can be rescheduled for a different day and/or time (for 5% of trip cost). Upgrade only available at time of reservation and must be applied to each seat.

UPPER ANIMAS & PIEDRA RIVER TRIPS:

• Receive an 80% refund with written notice 5 days prior to trip departure. Less notice, no refund.
• At Upper Animas orientation, if determined this is not right for you, for 1 day trips you may apply the trip cost to another available trip, less $250 per person for the nonrefundable train ticket & orientation. For overnight trips, the non refundable amount is $300 per person. Train tickets may be able to be transferred depending on the train’s availability.
• Trip Insurance through RoamRight is recommended to help cover unforeseen circumstances.

SALT RIVER PARTIAL & FULL DAY TRIPS:

• Receive 90% refund with 48 hours notice to departure. Less notice, no refund.
• Trip Change Option at a cost of 5% of trip cost: Up to 12 hours prior to departure, trips can be rescheduled for a different day and/or time. Upgrade only available at time of reservation and must be applied to each seat. Upgrade must be purchased within 48 hours of making the reservation.

MULTI-DAY TRIPS: 

These wilderness areas are highly restricted due to their delicate ecosystems. With limited launch days & guests allowed, difficult logistics and unrecoverable fees, our Cancellation Policy is as follows with written notice prior to departure:

• 60+ days: Receive a refund less $200 per person unrecoverable fees.
• 45+ days: Reschedule for another trip/date, or receive Mild to Wild gift certificate less $200 per person.
• 45- days: No refund. Substitutions/name changes are allowed.
• Trip insurance through RoamRight is recommended to help cover unforeseen circumstances incidentals like canceled flights, sickness or medical evacuations
• Guests needing to be evacuated from these remote canyons will be charged a minimum of $1000 per person.

GROUPS:

• For single-day trips receive a 90% refund with more than 36 hours prior to trip departure.
• For multi-day trips, refer to the agreement with your trip coordinator.
• If your group reserved a private or custom trip, we can unfortunately not issue a refund.

GUIDE CERTIFICATION COURSES:

• 60 + days: Receive a refund of $200. Less notice, no refund.

RENTALS:

• All rentals are final and there are no refunds for weather.

PRIVATE AND CHARTER TRIPS:

• All private, custom and charter trips are non-refundable.

GIFT CARD PURCHASES:

• All gift card purchases are final. There will be no refunds.
