Morning Tour: Meets at our Moab office at 8:00 AM.
Afternoon Tour: Meets at our Moab office at 3:00 PM.
Duration: Approximately 4 hours from meet up to return.

Meet your guide at our Moab office: 745 Kane Creek Blvd, Moab UT.

Sit back and relax on the scenic 15-minute drive up to Arches National Park.

Stop for overlooks and short walks to viewpoints to see iconic geologic formations like the Courthouse Towers, Balanced Rock and the Windows Section (with impressive views of the Double Arch).

Continue to the Delicate Arch Viewpoint for a short hike to admire Utah’s most famous arch from a distance. Then, dive into the park’s history with a stop at Wolfe Ranch and its nearby petroglyphs, showcasing centuries-old rock art.

Wrap up the adventure with a short, easy walk to Sand Dune Arch, a hidden gem tucked between sandstone fins

A perfect day, beautiful scenery and a arm plus core workout! The next day we took a tour with Tierny to Arches National Park. The air conditioned van was perfect for the heat of the sun. The safety information at the beginning was very reassuring. All of the guides were friendly and approachable. Our Guide was Griffin who was just perfect. He was easy going and very competent. He was knowledgeable about the geological formations and the history of the land. He gave us a choice of paddling or not paddling and clearly knew the river very well. He provided us with many opportunities to jump into the water and then helped people back into the raft. After having been to Arches National Park the day before this was a perfect complement to see the magnificent rock formations while smoothly gliding by. The people in the office we're very accurate in their description of this experience. Most of the time we were gliding along with periodic rapids that were not challenging. As we were arriving in Moab on the Canyon Spirit train without a car, they agreed to pick us up at our hotel. The train arrived a bit late but our driver texted us not to worry. Alec gave us an excellent tour of the beautiful Arches National Park. We stopped at most of the highlights and got to get out of the comfortable van and for some hikes.  Alec knew a lot about the park and it's history. So much better then a crowded bus or driving ourselves ! Only problem is that now we will have to return to Moab to try some other tours with Mild to Wild.

Payment Plan

We start with a 50% deposit, and have the remaining 50% charged 30 days prior to trip. Trips reserved less than 30 days in advance require payment in full.

Please call for alternative payment arrangements.

Cancellation Policy

Receive a full refund with written notice 24 hours or more before the trip. Less notice, no refund.

Trip Change Option

Up to 12 hours prior to departure, trips can be rescheduled for a different day and/or time. The price of this change policy is 5% of the total trip cost. Upgrade only available at time of reservation and must be applied to each seat.

Fees

In addition to the listed trip cost, we collect an additional 9% for River and Land Access Fees (ie. Forest Service, BLM, City, Private Land Use).

Trip Departure Policy

We reserve the right to switch river/locations based on current conditions and a minimum number of participants. This trip requires 4 participants or paid seats to depart.

When is the best time for a guided tour of Arches National Park?

Anytime from March through October offers a unique way to see the red rocks!

Spring & Fall: These months provide the most comfortable temperatures for the short walks and light hiking involved in our tours.
Summer: To beat the desert heat, our Morning Tours are ideal, as they allow you to explore the park during the Golden Hour when the light is soft and the air is fresh.

Pro Tip: Booking a guided tour means you do not need to secure a timed-entry reservation, making any time the “best time” to go without the logistical hassle!

When can I book an Arches National Park tour?

Our Arches tours run daily from early spring through late autumn. We offer half-day morning and afternoon departures, and popular Multi-Adventure Packages. You can pair your park tour with a splashy morning raft trip on the Colorado River or a rugged Jeep tour through the Moab backcountry. Because we handle the park permits and entry logistics, these tours are the most reliable way to ensure you see the park’s highlights during your Moab vacation.

What is the minimum age for an Arches National Park tour?

All ages are welcome on our Arches National Park tour. Our climate-controlled 15-passenger vans and easy-to-moderate strolls are designed to be family-friendly. Please note that Utah law requires car seats or boosters for children under 8 years old (or under 4’9″). To maintain a professional and secure environment, please bring the appropriate car seat or booster for use in our tour vehicles.

What should I wear and bring on my Arches tour?

Shirt with sun protection – UPF shirts or other athletic, light-weight long sleeves
Hat that covers both your face and neck
Sunglasses
Hiking / tennis shoes (no flip flops or crocs!)
Cooling bandana – During the hottest months (July & August)

Do I need a Timed Entry Reservation to join your tour?

No! When you book with Mild to Wild, your entry is guaranteed. You do not need to secure a personal reservation through Recreation.gov, making this a great option if permits are sold out during your visit.

Is the National Park Entrance Fee included?

Yes, there is a $15/person national park entrance fee for ages 16 and older included at checkout.
