How To Cook The Ultimate Dinner On A Raft Trip

Who says cooking on a multi-day raft trip can’t be a culinary adventure? Even though having to pack in and set up a kitchen in the wilderness makes creating a delicious meal more challenging, the chefs–er, guides–here at Mild to Wild Rafting & Jeep Tours pride themselves on constructing fantastic meals that exceed the expectations of our guests. When was the last time you had a three course meal? Let alone while camping.

During one of our Gates of Lodore Green River excursions, River Guides Trey and Don showed us how to put together an amazing Dutch Oven Lasagna so that maybe you can try it out on your next backcountry adventure! When it comes down to it, no matter what you make in the backcountry is at least twice as tasty as when you make it at home. There is something about the experience of cooking outside that really brings the meal together. Watch the video below to learn how to cook a dutch oven lasagna.
