Durango RaftingThe Lower Animas River meanders right through the town of Durango. The in-town section offers mild and intermediate options based on your choice of river craft. For a mild option, choose a guided Lower Animas River raft trip and paddle along if you desire. For an intermediate option, take on the river in an inflatable kayak under the supervision of an instructor. There’s an adventure level for everyone on your Durango vacation! Note: High spring run-off elevates the adventure level for rafting and kayaking.
