Desolation Canyon Rafting
A Desolation Canyon 5 day rafting trip provides more time to explore the multiple treasures that this immense destination has to offer. Desolation Canyon is a true western adventure from the start, as it begins with scenic flight into the most remote wilderness areas in the contiguous United States.
Once you’ve landed atop the mesa above the put-in, you’ll hike down to the boats to begins one of the most sought after river trips in the country. “Deso” as it’s affectionately called by the river community, hosts pristine archaeological sites, century old homesteads, wild horses and plenty of other wildlife, along with 60+ rapid sections— which you can run in an inflatable kayak if you so choose!
The campsites in Desolation Canyon are along big, beautiful beaches that offer their own opportunities for side hikes and exploration. Five days here will allow you plenty of time to unwind and sink into the present moment as you drift farther, and father into this pristine river canyon.

Our rafts will range from 18 – 33 feet depending on water flows during the time of the trip. Challenge rapids on optional inflatable kayaks if you desire.
We don’t want you to miss out on this trip so we’ll hold your spots, payment-free, for 24hrs while you make your final arrangements & prepare for payment.
60+ days: Receive a full refund minus $100 per person unrecoverable fees.
59 – 45 days: Receive a full refund minus $200 per person unrecoverable fees.
44 days – 30 days: Receive full credit towards any Mild to Wild trip within the next three years less $200 per person.
Less than 30 days: Unfortunately there will be no refund.
In addition to the listed trip cost, we collect an additional 8% for River and Land Access Fees (ie. Forest Service, BLM, NPS, City, Private Land Use).
