About This Trip
With 84 miles to meander in a wilderness far, far away, Desolation Canyon 4 day rafting trips make for longer days on the river. Since we’ll have two full days in the canyon, we’ll have time to stop for a site or two along the way.
As we float through the ever-growing rift, the cliffs will soar up to 5,000 feet. Keep your peeled for big horned sheep on the walls and birds of prey soaring into the void! Desolation is far from desolate when it comes to the wildlife.
This stretch also boasts the most rapids on the Green River, with over 60 class II sections to bound through and catch a splash, with a few exciting class III rapids sprinkled in.
Each evening we’ll float into a camp with sandy beaches, dotted with cottonwoods. As your guides prepare dinner, you can unwind as you wish as the stars come out.
Desolation Canyon 4-Day raft trips starting at $1,399.00.

In addition to expert paddling, she pointed out lots of wildlife along the way. Our driver to and from the put in/out location, David, was fantastic too. He was very helpful and fun too. I definitely recommend this company!Posted on Gary HallTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This was one of the best “adventures” we have ever had. The jeep trip up the mountain was breathtaking. The driver/guide was always pointing out things of interest…he was extremely knowledgeable and fun to listen. After the jeep trip we went whiter rafting. Again, just awesome. The “Captain” of our raft knew tons of information about things along the trip. Exciting but never anything dangerous. For the best and exciting opportunity in outdoor adventures you HAVE to go to Mild2Wild!!!Posted on Michael HendricksonTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Such an amazing 3 day on the Cataract River in Moab. Jackson, Hayden and Marcus knocked it out the park. The best food everyday. Even made my buddy a birthday cake. Best camp spots, stories and information. Thanks a million and we will definitely be back. See you next year.Posted on elianna garciaTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. THE best time with Seth and Gavin!!! Such a fun and incredible time. My three daughters and I had an absolutely wonderful experience with Mild to Wild from start to finish. The young man at the front desk was friendly and welcoming, making the check-in process smooth and easy. Our guide, Trey, was exceptional—he connected effortlessly with my kids and made sure the entire trip was fun, engaging, and truly memorable. There was constant laughter and so many smiles throughout the adventure. It’s clear this team goes above and beyond to create a great experience for their guests. I highly recommend Mild to Wild and this rafting trip to anyone looking for a fun and unforgettable outing!
