Last week we had the pleasure of meeting Dillon and Eric as our guides for the 2-day rafting trip on the Colorado River. This was our first family camping/rafting trip. We did not have any expectations, my two teenage sons did not want to go rafting and camping. I said it would be different and fun. Thanks to Dillon and Eric it was the highlight of our Moab trip!! I have been to 4 and 5-star accommodation in and outside of the U.S., so I understand the level of service I expect at a high-end restaurant or hotel. I want everyone to know that taking care of people on the Colorado River, including food and snacks is not an easy task. What I was so impressed about is the fact that both men did everything for two days without the slightest hint of it being “work”. I have never seen such a high level of professionalism in my 30 years of being an executive, as I did on this rafting trip. Everyone could learn a lesson from these two on how to handle customers and make them feel at home. The trip had the right balance of geography lessons, history lessons as well as quite a relaxing time just floating down the river. They knew exactly when to talk and when to have a peaceful ride down the river. Needless to say, Dillon and Eric hit the “ball out the park” and did an amazing job!! Mild to Wild is lucky to have them on the staff!! Dillon and Eric are now the gold standards for excellent service in my mind!!
