A Few Words From our Guests
It’s over a month later and my family and I are still quite excited about our adventure with Mild 2 Wild! We spent Monday, July 19th riding up to Silverton with your guide, Jim, and thoroughly enjoyed the information he gave us throughout the day. The shuttle bus ride and jeep tour would not have been the same without him. Now, I have to say while I was looking forward to the Ghost Town Tour, the title of the tour just doesn’t do it justice, nor does it foretell of the entire tour. We had no idea that the mining ghost town was really only a small part of the tour. I’m still in unmitigated awe at the vistas beyond the town, that it was possible to drive up to nearly 13,000 feet above sea level, and that in July my children would be playing in snow. It was amazing to see my 11 year old son and 6 year old daughter enjoy the day as it was and it is my hope that they will look back on it with half the awe that we do. Frankly, after this spectacular tour, the train ride was almost an afterthought. Thank you, and we may be booking again next year when we return to the area. Maybe we will try some rafting!

Outstanding adventure with top notch outfit! This was the 3rd time my mom and I had done the Salt River Canyon trip, but our 1st time with Mild to Wild. It most certainly won’t be our last though. We’ll be repeat customers from here on out!

I would recommend the Trails and Rails package for anyone who wants to get a close look at the natural beauty of the Colorado Mountains! We were even able to photograph two wild baby moose! How exciting!!! The knowledgeable Jeep tour guides, Frank and Shane, made the trip so much fun! It was all more than we expected and definitely the best deal we’ve ever made! The Jeep tour is definitely the best way to enhance the rail tour!

We went rafting down the Salt River in AZ. Our guide, Lau, was amazing! He knew the answers to all of our questions about the canyon and the surrounding area (including geology, plant life, history, etc &). We had a great trip, and I will go again in Colorado with these guys.

My husband and I did the mild to wild jeep trip on Sept. 16th. Frank Miller was our tour guide, he had been around this area his whole life which was a definite plus because he was very informative. Frank gave us plenty of time to absorb the beauty of Silverton and the mountain area. We would definitely recommend this to everyone. Frank gets an A+ from us. Thanks again for a memorable time.
