We had a super fun time on this early June, Cataract Canyon rafting trip! The first day we cruised for 50 miles. Incredible views, a good hike and we also had a fantastic lunch prepared by Marcus and Brynn, 2 of our wonderful river guides! The rest of our guides; Jessie, Annie, Seth, Mike, Scotty and Adam also took good care of us. Keeping us safe on the water and fed at camp!
I was impressed by their skill and professionalism as well as their generous spirits and the way they shared their love of the river with us. The second day was filled with thrilling rapids, followed by more delicious food and a lovely sandy campsite to hang out at. The weather was hot during the day and cooler at night and the water was very refreshing when we jumped in. So many stars in the sky! Perfect combination! The third day we had another half dozen rapids followed by calm motoring to the Hite take-out site. We chose to fly back to Moab, it was awesome to see from the air what we had just traveled by raft!
