Durango’s Best Coffee – Advice From A River Guide
Here in Durango, there is some sharp contention for the title of Durango’s Best Coffee! If you are a coffee lover or just looking to find the best cup of coffee in Durango here are some suggestions of some of the Mild to Wild Rafting & Jeep Tours staff’s favorite places to get a good ol’ cup of joe before rafting the river or whatever adventure you may have planned for the day.
Durango Joes Coffee
With multiple locations, here in town, this is a local’s favorite coffee shop. They roast their own coffee beans to make sure they make you the best coffee possible. Their friendly staff will make your choice of drink on the fly. They are a favorite in the Mild to Wild family. With one of their drive-through locations just a block away from our shop. They are perfect for grabbing a cup of “joe” before heading out on the river.
81301 Coffee House and Roasters
This is another favorite among the Mild To Wild Rafting & Jeep Tours Family. With their location only a couple of minutes down the road from our main office, this is my favorite place to get some nitro brew or a great pour over. They roast their beans in-house and you are able to peak into the roasting lab and watch the process of them roasting the beans. This is a great place to get an afternoon pick me up or to sit down and get some work done while drinking a good cup of coffee. 81301 wins the popular vote among river guides for Durango’s best coffee!
Durango Roasters
Formally known as Durango Coffee Company. If you are staying downtown or near downtown, and you need a good place to grab some coffee, get some work done, or catch up with friends, this is the place to go. It has recently been remodeled and offers more comfortable seating. Durango Roasters also sells and roasts their own coffee. It certainly is a contender for Durango’s best coffee.
