The secret to M2W’s trips are the emotional maturity, leadership qualities, and communication skills of their guides. Many outfitters run the same rivers, serve similar food, and have technically competent guides. The difference is really in the quality of the people. The Yampa is a fantastic river canyon.

I’ve spent a lot of time in Canyon Country-hiking, camping and rafting. This was my first time in Lodore Canyon. The Canyon is a stand out. Gorgeous steep (nearly vertical) deep red quartzite walls. As for Mild to Wild- the guides did a great job, the food was very good-lots
