Guides Talk About Their Favorite Trips
Are you planning a rafting excursion for your family, but aren’t sure which adventure you should choose? With multiple adventure possibilities in Colorado and Utah, it can be a difficult choice to make. Well, who better to ask for advice than some Mild to Wild River Guides themselves! Nobody has more knowledge or experience on exactly what each trip has in store. We talked to some of the Mild to Wild Guides and asked them to share with you which of our multi-day adventures are their favorite. One of the guides’ favorite features to our multi-day trips is the white water, of which Cataract Canyon, Desolation Canyon, and The Gates of Lodore have plenty to offer. Now, don’t worry. The rapids on these trips aren’t the kinds that would strike fear into even the experienced boaters. This “wet and fun” white water is perfect for all ages, and can turn a lazy, scenic float into an exciting splashy thrill ride real quick!
One of the great things about multi-day trips is that the find isn’t limited to just the river. Whether hanging out in camp or exploring the surrounding canyon, there’s no shortage of discoveries to be made. Human history is on display out in these remote reaches where Ancestral Puebloans and characters of the Old West left their marks. Fans of American and Natural History certainly won’t be disappointed by everything there is to learn.
Don’t forget about the connections to be made. These adventures are something that you and your family will be talking about for years. Out in the wilderness kids can be kids, and so can adults. As you learn and experience together, it will create a bond that will last forever. Find some lifelong friends in our guides or your companions in one of the most beautiful places any of you will ever experience.
Pick where you want to have the adventure of a lifetime. Forget about screens and lose your cell service and give you and your family an experience to remember!
