From the moment we entered through The Gates into Lodore Canyon until the takeout, we were surrounded by beautiful scenery. Passing through the multiple geological formations really put us face to face with the amazing forces that shape the Earth over time. Aside from the sights, the rapids were consistent and incredibly fun. The camps had amazing white sand beaches and beautiful green trees to provide us with plenty of shade. Our favorite part of the trip, though, was definitely the side hikes that take you to Native American rock art from 1000 years ago, and fun waterfalls to play around in. An amazing trip all around!
