Our trip experienced some uncanny weather; like blew my loaded down tent into the Colorado River, high stakes lunch making, sand is buried in my retinas kind of weather. And I could not have enjoyed myself more.

Our guides, Martin and Marcus, kept good spirits from one mishap to the next, dealing with every incident with the utmost professionalism and casual swagger one comes to expect from river guides.

There skills in the rapids were self evident and they made us feel incredibly well taken care of the whole time.

We live here, so at first it was a little weird to be on a guided trip in our backyard- but man. Cataract with ya’ll is something I’ll never forget.
