My family of 3 adults went on this trip during our short stay in Durango and it was a perfect rafting trip for beginners. The river was very shallow when we came, but our guide Sam was awesome and she helped us navigate through all of the rocks and got us un-stuck when our raft went onto a rock. The class 3 rapid was our favorite part. We recommend this trip to people who haven’t experienced rafters or people looking for a relaxing experience, but not necessarily for people looking for big rapids and a thrill ride. Another trip might be better for rapid-seekers.
