We sure do love waking up to snow in the mountains! This photo was taken last weekend and is only the very beginning.

Durango is filled with reasons to love winter (including Durango Mountain Resort only a short drive up Highway 550) and many of us enjoy our winter activities, but in the back of our minds, we’re all waiting for that snowmelt to fill our rivers in the spring! So, we welcome the fall and the upcoming winter, and we will be crossing our fingers for heavy snowfall and a cool spring!
