San Miguel in June

By Molly   •   January 3, 2022

Our family did the 2 day San Miguel rafting trip at the end of June. It was a great experience! The kids are older (18 and 21) so we chose this trip; when I called about booking we were told it was more active. And it did not disappoint. Everyone needs to be actively involved which made it more exciting.

Although it was still cold and rainy at times we had so much fun. We had great guides. Thanks John and Nate. As John said, you can be “cold and wet” or you can be “cold, wet, and miserable”. We chose to have fun and John and Nate made it easy for us to have fun. The over night camping at Caddis Flats was ok. Plus, with the dry conditions we were not able to have fire. The food (dinner and breakfast) was really good.

Have been meaning to post this for months but was recently reminded that I had not done so since we still tell stories often about this great experience.
