This was a great trip!! We were so excited to try whitewater rafting, and our first outing was just what we needed to “test the waters” Turns out we love it, especially the turbulent parts. I wish the lower Animas had more of it (rapids/turbulent water). We are planning to come back to Colorado next year and visit Telluride so we can do the San Miguel River trip with our excellent river guide with the fortuitous name, Rio…he swears it’s his real name.
