We had 8 in our group. Age 70 to 15 mos. Miles picked us up in Mancos, a short drive from Durango. There were 4 other adults in the shuttle, so it was a full van.
We were concerned that we wouldn’t see much as it was raining, and at first, there was a thunderstorm. We thought it was going to be a wasted day. But no!
Miles kept us fully involved and provided interesting information on the area. We stopped at many sights along the drive to see ancient Ancestral Puebloan homes close up and in the distance. Miles provided the history of the ancient sights and what to look for.
