Great trip down the San Miguel in late June. Water was cold but to be expected. With strong snow melt the river was running strong. We trusted our guides/team. They make the trip. Elena, Trey, Ben and N where helpful and positive. The trip offers a unique vantage point and beautiful ride down the S.M River you couldn’t get elsewhere. It helps to have a fair level of fitness/mobility to enjoy the trip. Elena did a great job of making sure everyone was safe and completely part of the experience. It also helps to have a raft with people who are used to being a bit physical and can work together. Mild to Wild was authentic. It wasn’t glitzy, it was a bare-bones rafting trip with an excellent staff. We’ve already recommended to friends in Telluride. See you soon.
