The guides were super helpful and very hard-working. They had to paddle us much of the way for the trip, as the water levels were extremely low, and the motor didn’t seem to work after the first day. The first day was long, but as a result our trip leader Annie got us past all the other rafters, so we had the river to ourselves the rest of the trip, which I’ve never seen before! All of our members got to kayak and SUP, and we got a lot of practice, even if the rapids were a little slower than we prefer. To improve the trip, I would maintain the motor at the shop, have a guide experienced in motor maintenance, give the guides more planning time between trips, inform the customers that they will have only one personal daytime dry-bag for their while group (so people can buy their own if they want more), and supply 1 nightime pee bucket per tent for better nightime safety.
