We have used Adventure Bound rafting company every year we have taken students out west. This year was our first with Mild to Wild and we were very impressed that the same wilderness ethic, attention to details, excellent Guides, and exceptional client oriented service was experienced. We really were impressed with Mike, Christian, and Morgan. Each brought a different perspective and expertise to our group. Christian was wonderful at providing historical context and geological information that truly enriched our student learning.
I would like to suggest that we talk more prior to our next trip as we would have loved the opportunity to have duckies for our entire group rather than just 2. As it turns out the weather wasn’t really great for duckies and we enjoyed being on the rafts.
The only other suggestion would be to take more hikes to the ancient pueblo artifacts in the area, as we had done on previous trips. One of the great parts of Desolation is the petroglyphs and graineries. We would love to explore more on future trip.
It really was a wonderful trip and our students thoroughly enjoyed the adventure.
