Thirteen of us, family and friends, spent five glorious days on the Green River in Utah. The adventure began with a short flight from Moab on Redtail air to the Sand Wash put in. The flight was an amazing preview of the canyon landscapes that awaited us. Our guides Christian Wright, Mike Roseman, and Cat Vogel worked tirelessly to keep us safe and comfortable in the beautiful and sometimes harsh desert landscape. They were knowledgeable about everything from geology and hydrology to entomology and astronomy.
