COVID-19
Actions Mild to Wild is Taking in Response to COVID-19
Looking Ahead to the Adventures in 2023
Mild to Wild Rafting & Jeep Tours would like to thank our loyal customers, first-time guests, and incredible staff that all helped us through the past 3 years! We couldn’t have been happier with our ability to continue sharing the relaxing and rejuvenating power of the outdoors during the pandemic. We are also thankful to the local health departments and CDC for helping us create new precautions, procedures, and extra sanitation measures that have allowed us to “stay afloat” during the COVID-19 pandemic.
For 2023, we are taking the virus just as seriously and are providing our guests with the same level of precautions as directed by the CDC and our local health departments. We are optimistic in our ability to provide opportunities for our guests to gain a deeper connection with nature, adventure, family, and new friends.
Mild to Wild’s Protocols per CDC Guidelines
We will always maintain the CDC’s recommended precautions to stop the spread of COVID-19 as published at the time of your trip. We are closely monitoring COVID-19 and are taking actions based on guidance from public health experts. We are committed to providing the most up to date and accurate information to our guests and staff with their health and safety as a primary concern. These are the actions, changes and extra precautions we have taken in order to help our guests and staff during this period.
Facility & Vehicle Sanitation:
In addition to our well-established maintenance and cleaning schedule, we have increased the frequency of cleaning service for our vehicles, office locations, bathrooms, and shared pre and post-trip facilities.
- Vehicles are cleaned and sanitized after every use.
- Increased frequency of cleaning our office and restrooms.
- All pre-trip registrations and waivers can be completed online if you wish to completely avoid going into a building.
- Anti-bacterial wipes, hand sanitizer, and handwashing stations are available at trip check-in locations and lunch and camp.
- High touch surfaces will be sanitized several times daily in office and vehicles
We will always maintain the CDC’s recommended precautions to stop the spread of COVID-19 as published at the time of your trip.
During Trip Sanitation Measures:
Whether you are taking a half-day trip or 6-day wilderness adventure, Mild to Wild staff has always adhered to public health and food handling best practices. In response to COVID-19, we are taking additional measures for the safety of our guests and guides.
- Hand washing stations in-camp and at lunch stops
- Disinfection of communal surfaces & items
- Rental equipment laundered/disinfected before each use
- Food handlers training for guides
- If a guide or guest develops flu-like symptoms during a Mild to Wild trip, we will socially distance the individual from the rest of the group and any community items, disinfect any suspected items or areas of contamination, and consult local agencies about the possibility of an evacuation.
We will always maintain the CDC’s recommended precautions to stop the spread of COVID-19 as published at the time of your trip.
Private Trips
For those that want to get out in nature on a private trip, we are offering new trip offerings on many of our rivers for a private trip. This included just your party, a private shuttle and private trip check-in.
